P2

I do the organisation and paperwork for a Simulation group in my free time which gives me a couple hours worth of work a week to do. I'm not shy when it comes to working and in all honesty, paperwork is one of the things I'm best at. I am great when it comes to organization, everything on computers and filing is always perfectly ordered and I am always on time. I am generally a kind and inclusive person and opt-in when it comes to work so that I can help out wherever I can. Examples of this are when my peers needed actors and camera operators for projects which really didn't need me. I sometimes struggle when it comes to nerves but once I get comfortable I'm fine.

I am a very creative and unique when it comes to my lifestyle. Lots of people laugh at my habits which keep my life in check. I work creatively and when it comes to camera work it ignites an additional spark of creativity which in turn produces better content. I've always been a creative person and normally have a creative solution to problems which can sometimes be straight forward. When I took my GCSE maths I always took a problem's solution the complicated way so that I would get a more accurate result.

I am excellent when it comes to cinematography and photography and have had an abundance of practice in these areas. I've also had a lot of graphic design practice at the same time as per when I edited the videos and photos. In my spare time and part of the media courses that I have undergone. This graphic design and video editing work had been using adobe photoshop and adobe premiere win which I have been using those programs alongside free versions like DaVinci resolve (video editing). On top of this, we have also done lots of VFX work using Maya and will also be doing another unit using this program within the next month or two.

Within my group, in Unit 17 Joseph and I ended up doing most of the work compared to Angus, Jack and George. George ended up editing one slide when prompted multiple times for the treatment which I ended up rewriting, Jack wrote a terrible script which I had to rewrite. Joseph and I ended up doing all of the rest of the work with the inclusion of Angus as the sound recorder using the boom mic at the end which was decided on the day. Here is a screenshot of the schedule sheet that Joseph and I completed:

I have done a Level 2 Diploma in Media in which I got a distinction star for my overall grade and a distinction in every unit. I have done lots of work experience in companies such as Jagex in their media production teams and have also done a lot of projects for someone else which was voluntary and have also done a lot in my own time. I have passed my driving test and received my licence. I include this in my relevant skills as I can do running jobs for the crew and pick up people on the way to a job for a car share.

The hobbies I have are photography, Dog training, Cycling and Gaming. I often stream me playing games and I play a wide range of games. Most of which include a lot of communication and teamwork as completing difficult challenges is what I enjoy the most. I do dog training with my dogs, Jack and Finn. Jack is rather old, is 12 years old and Finn is 3. I focus mainly on gundog training such as retrieves, flyball and agility. With my photography, it is most landscape photography and studio photography but I love branching out to as many types as I can. I have work experience in media within the projects I have undertaken within my life but I also did work experience in a bike shop that closed down. It was based in Horningsea, Cambridgeshire and was called Ben Hayward Cycles which used to be based in Cambridge itself.
